Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 June 2026
1. Who can use SOLANIQ
The Service is intended for businesses. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the company whose data you enter. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2. What the Service does — and what it is not
SOLANIQ is a self-service tool that calculates a greenhouse-gas footprint from the energy and production data you provide, using versioned, standard emission factors, and produces a report you can share with your buyers.
- Reports are self-declared disclosures based on your inputs. They are estimates, not audited figures.
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a SOLANIQ report is not third-party verified and is not a substitute for accredited verification, certification, or legal/regulatory advice.
- The accuracy of every output depends on the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter.
- You are responsible for any decision you, your buyers, or any authority make on the basis of a report.
3. Your account & security
Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for ensuring the data you enter is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, or to submit data you are not entitled to use;
- attempt to break, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its security;
- upload malware or content that infringes the rights of others; or
- resell or misrepresent the Service or its outputs.
5. Plans, trials & billing
Some features are offered under a paid subscription. Current pricing, trial length, and plan terms are shown at our pricing section. Where a free trial is offered, it is limited to [one trial per company / ICE], and [billing/refund terms — to confirm before paid launch] apply. Payments are handled by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms. We may change pricing on reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual property & your data
SOLANIQ and all of its software, design, and content are owned by us and our licensors. You keep ownership of the data you enter and the reports generated from it. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any report will satisfy a specific buyer, scheme, or regulator.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOLANIQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or regulatory penalties arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or any report. Our total liability for any claim is limited to [the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim].
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SOLANIQ harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.
10. Term & termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms over time. When changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of [competent court / city], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.
